FAQs
Q: How much do the trips cost?
A: The prices of field trips vary each year. Be sure to check our announcements page for any important documents pertaining to this.
Q: How much extra money should I bring on field trips?
A: We do not like to give a specific number when advising students how much additional money to bring on field trips. However, keep in mind that NO meals (aside from the chapter dinner) are covered in the cost of the trip. So students will need to bring money for food. There are also optional costs to consider, such as souvenirs. Feel free to consult with any of the chapter officers for further advice and guidance.
Q: When do I wear my DECA blazer?
A: The DECA blazer is required when presenting at ICDC. However, at state competition, it is merely optional. Please note that all DECA blazers are navy blue. Therefore, if you intend on renting one, please be prepared with a navy blue dress bottom. If you are interested in renting a DECA blazer for either state or national competition, see Mr. Rothouse in room 710.
